It is ideal conditions for a warm water dive into the underwater realms. Water temperatures tend to remain constant between 27 and 30 Degree Celsius. The start of guesthouses in local islands in 2010 led to the expansion of diving into previously unexplored areas, with dive centres popping up in different parts of Maldives. This allowed travellers to interact with local people, opening the door to those who want to experience the true Maldives, including those who do not seek to stay in resorts and liveaboards.
