About Maldivers
Welcome to Maldivers Diving Centre, founded in 1999 by passionate divers who aimed to share their love for the underwater world. As a Scuba Schools International (SSI) certified dive centre, we offer a wide range of programs including Try Scuba Diving, beginner courses, first aid courses, and professional diving certifications, all conducted to the highest standards. Our experienced staff takes pride in training divers and diving professionals, and we’re pleased to have trained many over the years.
Our mission is to provide our customers with safe and reliable diving and training while sharing our knowledge and resources to aid in the conservation of the marine ecosystem. We also mentor and train environmentally conscious dive professionals who share our passion for preserving the underwater world. At Maldivers Diving Centre, we strive to create a memorable experience for our customers, and our motto “dive with someone you know, learn with someone you trust” guides us in achieving this goal. Our Services
We strive to keep a certain standard amongst our centres with a typical list of services. However, there might be some minor changes from island to island. Contact us for more details.
Some of the services we provide are below.
House Reef Dives
The house reef/lagoon can be accessed quite easily, so we can dive there throughout the day, depending on the conditions.
Two Tank Dives
Two tank dives are usually done in the morning. We leave ain the morning after breakfast and return to the island for lunch. We like to vary the dive sites we go to every day and will be more than happy to take up your requests.
Single Tank Dives
Single tank dives can be fit anytime during the day, as with house reef dives. We usually have a single tank dive in the afternoon.
Night Dives
Night dives can be conducted on the house reef or by boat. We start preparation a bit before sunset and start the dive after the sun has gone down.
Full-Day Trips
Full-day trips can be arranged upon request. Usually, we like to visit dive sites that are a bit further away during these trips.
Try Scuba Diving
Scuba diving while in the Maldives is one of the must-do things. If you do not have a certification but still would like to dive while under supervision. You begin by diving in shallow water, and you can continue to dive on the coral reef afterwards.

Night snorkelling at the house reef is quite an exciting activity where you get to see all the nocturnal life.
Marine Ecology Tours
Our marine ecology tours would be perfect for those who are interested in learning a bit more about the marine environment. It is suitable for both divers and snorkelers. We can focus on the marine flora and fauna that are of interest to you during the tour to give you an overview of the Maldivian underwater environment.
