Master Scuba Diver

 

Master Scuba Diver is acknowledged as the most prestigious level you can attain as a recreational diver. You would be recognized as an expert in diving who specializes in different types of diving. As a Master Scuba Diver you would be a confident diver, who is at home in the water and with first-class Rescue Diver abilities.
Becoming one is a challenge and a huge achievement for you. It’s a great feeling.

 

What are my requirements?

  • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
  • PADI Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
  • 50 logged dives.
  • Five PADI Specialty course certifications.
  • Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for Junior Master Scuba Diver).

Where can I go from there?

Even though the Master Scuba Diver is the highest level in the PADI system you don’t have to stop. You can become a PADI professional by joining the PADI Divemaster course. As a Master Scuba Diver you already have the experience and are well qualified to start.
