In the Adventures in Diving you get to experience the different varieties of diving activities and get a change to find out what appeals to you the most. This could include the rush of drift diving, exploring the colourful night life or capturing your dive experience on photograph.

With the completion of 3 adventure dives you get to be certifies as an adventure diver. 2 more adventure dives and you are certified as Advanced Open Water Diver.

(To be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver 2 of the 5 adventure dives should be deep adventure dive and underwater navigation adventure dive).

What are my requirements?

• PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).
• For Adventure Diver minimum age: 15 years old (10 for PADI Junior Adventure Diver).
• For Advanced Open Water Diver minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver).

How long will it take?

• For Adventure Diver
  Recommended Course Hours: nine
  Maximum Open Water Training: three dives over one day
• For Advanced Open Water Diver
  Recommended Course Hours: fifteen
  Maximum Open Water Training: five dives over two days
  Where can I go from there?

After becoming an adventure diver you can make 2 more adventure dives and become an Advanced Open Water Diver. Also the Adventure Dives count towards the PADI Specialty Dive certification. The dive you’ve done counts as the first dive of the correlating Specialty Diver Course.

If you’re an Advanced Open Water Diver you can join the PADI Rescue Diver Course (12-15 year olds can become Junior Rescue Diver).
